Warranty & Guarantee — The Faithful Market

We want you to love what you ordered. All products purchased from The Faithful Market are covered by the statutory warranty under EU and Dutch consumer law: items must be as described and fit for normal use. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights.
What’s covered
- Manufacturing defects (e.g., print errors, incorrect item received, faulty stitching, misalignment).
- Damaged on arrival (packaging damage with product damage).
- Wrong size/color/design delivered compared to your order confirmation.
What’s not covered
- Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper care or washing contrary to the care label.
- Damage caused after delivery (e.g., snagging, stains, heat damage, misuse).
- Change‑of‑mind returns (see our Returns Policy for 30‑day returns and who covers return shipping).
Duration
EU statutory conformity rules apply (generally up to 2 years). Please report issues within a reasonable time after discovery; for shipping damage, we recommend notifying us within 7 days of delivery so we can help quickly.
How to make a warranty claim
- Contact us via our Contact Page and include:
- Your order number and the email used at checkout.
- A short description of the issue.
- Clear photos showing the defect/damage, plus the size/brand label and the outside of the parcel if damaged.
- Our team will assess your claim. For verified manufacturing defects we normally arrange a free replacement shipped directly from our production partner. In many cases, you won’t need to return the original item.
- If a return is required, we’ll provide the correct return instructions. Approved warranty returns are at our cost (e.g., a prepaid label). Please do not return items before receiving instructions.
Remedies
For valid warranty claims we will, at our discretion and at no cost to you:
- Repair the item, or
- Replace the item with the same or equivalent product, or
- Refund the purchase price if repair/replacement is not possible within a reasonable time.
Any refund will be made to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise.
Made‑to‑Order & Sustainability
Most items are produced on demand to reduce waste. This can affect lead times (typically 5–10 business days). Production‑on‑demand does not limit your legal warranty rights.
Returns vs. Warranty
Change of mind / size exchanges: please see our Returns Policy (30‑day window; return shipping typically paid by the customer).
Defects / damaged on arrival: covered under this Warranty; we cover necessary return costs for approved claims.
